Developing a New Image of Vampires

The movie Daybreakers released at the beginning of 2010 notwithstanding my expectations of it cannot be regarded a horror film. There are not many terrific scenes in the movie and the scriptwriter worked on a new image of the vampires. In the film they appear to be not monsters or romanticized creatures, Edward Dalton, a vampire and the main character of the movie is a researcher looking for a substitute for human blood. The film plot is based on a new interpretation of the vampire lifestyle.
